چکیده

This study explores the influence of particle size and carrier gas on clean efficient combustion pulverized 'Barapukuria' bituminous coal. Both experimental numerical analyses were conducted to examine temperature fluid flow in a 1400 mm long vertical furnace with 344 x mm² interior crosssection. High-Temperature Air Combustion (HTAC) was employed minimize NOx emissions. The research focused volatile matter reactivity during combustion, evaluating their impact NOx, CO2, CO generation. CO2 used as inject coal particles sizes ranging from 0.001 0.02 mm. Results showed flue recirculation varied devolatilization patterns different sizes. Smaller produced less compared larger particles, highlighting potential for improved reduced Computational dynamics (CFD) analysis also supported results. By optimizing parameters, this may contribute achieve environmental sustainability. Journal Engineering Science 14(1), 2023, 65-76

Computational fluid dynamics simulation of the flow patterns and performance of conventional and dual-cone gas-particle cyclones

One of the main concerns of researchers is the separation of suspended particles in a fluid. Accordingly, the current study numerically investigated the effects of a conical section on the flow pattern of a Stairmand cyclone by simulating single-cone and dual-cone cyclones. A turbulence model was used to analyze incompressible gas-particle flow in the cyclone models, and the Eulerian–Lagrangian...

Experimental Study of Hydrogen Addition Impact on Emissions and Performance of a Natural Gas Fueled Engine

Hydrogen is seen as one of the important energy carriers of the future with potential to reduce local as well as global warming. The main by-product of the combustion of hydrogen in air is water vapor and trace quantities of oxides of nitrogen. An experiment was conducted to study the impact of hydrogen/natural gas blends on performance, thermodynamic efficiency and exhaust gas emissions in ...

Experimental study and application of computational fluid dynamics on the prediction of air velocity and temperature in a ventilated chamber

The shape of the air flow in the interior is heavily influenced by the air distribution system and the way air enters and exits. By numerically simulating flow by computational fluid dynamics, one can determine the flow pattern and temperature distribution and, with the help of the results, provide an optimal design of the air conditioning system. In this study, a chamber was first constructed ...
